Screen Tape - WHITE

Screen White tape for screen printing is designed to block off areas of the screen or the printing surface that should not be exposed to ink. This tape is stronger than other Masking Screen Tapes.

• Material: this all purpose screen tape is made of acrylic with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, which allows it to stick securely without leaving residue behind when removed. The tape surface is smooth, which helps to prevent any ink from seeping through the edges.
• Width and Thickness: White Screen Tape is available in 2" inches & 3" inches width. The thickness is generally medium to allow it to cover areas thoroughly while still being easy to tear by hand. Rolls are 110 yards long.
• Adhesive: The adhesive is designed to be strong enough to stay in place during the printing process but gentle enough to avoid damaging the screen or leaving residue on the emulsion after use.
• Usage: Masking tape is used to:
  • Block out areas of the screen mesh that are not part of the design, ensuring only the intended parts are exposed to ink.
  • Cover the edges of the screen frame to prevent ink from seeping through and causing unwanted marks.
• Durability: It can withstand the pressure of screen printing, including the force applied during the squeegee stroke, as well as exposure to various types of inks and chemicals used in the printing process.
