UV DTF - UV Stickers

UV-DTF - Direct to Film UV Stickers have Super Glossy 3D finish, designed for a wide variety of hard surfaces. UV-DTF Stickers are excellent for applying on Wood, Plastic, Metal, Glass, Ceramic and many more. UV-DTF stickers do not require any Heat for application, simply remove from backing and apply directly on to your desire surface.


UV-DTF sticker transfers are created on a UV Direct to film wide format printer that's EASY, FAST and very DURABLE self-adhesive transfers.


Ordering your UV-DTF prints are easy and fast, we ask that you please read thru carefully and follow the specification below to submit your artwork for DTF printing. We are here to make this process easy and expedited as possible.

SUBMITTING YOUR FILE when ready:

When sending multiple files or larger files that your email service cannot handle, we recommend using: www.wetransfer.com, this is a FREE and EASY service.

Please take a moment and review the specifications below

for the UV-DTF Artwork requirements before submitting your files for printing.

FILE RESOLUTION:

- Submit your file in a min resolution of 300dpi

- Make sure your files are VECTORIZED by a Graphic Designer.

- We recommend using any of the Vector programs below:

  • Graphic Tracer - Membership based graphic editor software
  • Vector Magic - Membership based Vector Editor
  • Vectr - Free Online Vector Editor

COLOR Format:   

  • Send in your Files in: ADOBE RGB 1998
  • Please note: CMYK switches color intensity after printed.

COLOR Expectation:

  • The printed file will not match your monitor. The colors in your computer display or device screens are NOT an accurate representation of how the artwork will print.

FILE Format:

  • PNG format with NO Background
  • ONLY with Transparent Background         
  • DO NOT send in  files in: JPEG, AI, EPS, PSD or PDF format
  • Please note that white areas around the design will print if they're not removed.
  • We will NOT ADJUST: size, layout, quality or target PANTONE colors. 
  • Do NOT MIRROR your designs.

UNDER-Base White & Gloss Varnish                                 

  • Avoid designs with very fine details, they're likely Not to Transfer Correctly on to your surfaces.
  • To correct this issue: add a stroke to your artwork to make the small details thicker before submitting your artwork.
  • All UVDTF Stickers are printed with Gloss overprint varnish that gives all stickers a 3D Glossy raised effect.

ARTWORK Requirements (Additional):

  • Include only desired artwork (DO NOT include notes or layers)
  • Only submit what should be printed
  • Vector Artwork should have hard edges, NO SOFT Edges (or SHADOWS)
  • Artwork should NOT have any Soft Edges or Fading effects around the edges.

Checking Artwork prior to submitting:


  • Artwork will not be CLEANED or ADJUSTED; files will be printed as submitted.
  • Double Check your ARTWORK size & quality before submitting.
  • Make sure that White is present in the areas that should have White.

Small Details & Fine lines:



  • Avoid FINE LINES smaller than 9pts.
  • We will NOT RE-COLOR or EDIT artwork in any way prior to printing.
  • Fine lines and small details may NOT transfer correctly.
  • Dishwasher safe in short cycles or hand wash recommended.
  • Do NOT wash in Dishwasher with High Heat.
  • Do NOT expose to Heat such as Ovens & Microwaves. 

UV DTF Transfer & Applications:

  • Wipe down the surface with alcohol prior to application.
  • Do NOT apply transfer over wet surfaces.
  • Use a plastic squeegee with a soft Phelp side during application.
  • Apply pressure over the entire area of the design specially areas the contain details. Peel Clear Transfer film after 15 sec.
